… and now for reasons to buy our pens

  • Our pens are built to last a lifetime

Each Classic pen is made from a solid rod of POM that is tough yet smooth in the hand. Might seem like a small thing, but it’s the bigest advantage of our pens - nothing sticks to it. Try to paste something to the outside of the pen - you can’t. POM is expensive, which is why most pen companies don’t use it. Our pens are 100% recyclable.

  • You won't lose your Classic Pen...

… because it gets plugged up with dried ink. If you leave your Classic pen full of India ink uncleaned for half a year, scrub the outside with warm water and soap, then field strip the pen in 10 seconds, clean out any plug, refill the pen with ink, and you’re back in business. We originally created our pens to use India ink - that's always been my favorite ink.

  • Our pens are modular

You can use a wide range of popular nibs to draw the line you want - Manga G, Hunt, Brause Rose and Leonardt Principal nibs, Speedball and Brause Blue Pumpkin nibs, Gillott 303 nibs, crowquills and Hawk quills, our own Sketch and Music nibs. Slip the nibs in and out.

  • Select the feed flow you need

We provide a variety of feeds with a range of flow rates that work with different inks and paints. The correct flow is the most important action in a fountain pen. Again - our pens are modular - slip feeds in and out. You won't do this often.

  • Encourage your flow with a pump

Ink flow is the result of many forces with the most important being gravity, surface tension, and air flow except in our Classic Pump Pens. If you want a stronger flow, press the button pump on the side - you get what you press, from a drop to a gush.

  • Use any ink or paint

Our pens were originally designed for India ink, but you can use new dye-based inks that are colorful and lightfast. Later in 2026 we plan to provide the option of using popular ink cartridges so you can purchase and use your favorite inks and replace empty cartridges easily.

  • Calligraphers love our pens

Writing and lettering are art forms. Calligraphers enjoy our pens because we support a wide range of pointed and broad edge nibs - Leonardt Principal, Brause Rose, Manga G, Mitchell Roundhand to list a few.

  • Modern tools and techniques

We use the latest software applications, including solid modeling and parametric design. We also use modern production methods, such as CNC and 3D printing, matching the right technology best suited for the product and design.

  • We also step back in time...

… to resurrect drawing tools that used to be very popular. We produce nibs that emulate both feather quill nibs and reed pens used by the masters. Drawing with our quill nibs is like painting with a pen. So stay in touch - lots of new stuff coming up.
